All candidates must register with Vermont Department of Health EMS Office as well as registering here PRIOR TO THE EXAM. Late registrations are not accepted by the NREMT - AEMTs must file an application in VT LIGHTS and provide their PATT to VT EMS prior to May 1, 2022.
Exam Levels
- Full or retest - EMT (VT psychomotor exam), AEMT (NREMT psychomotor exam)
Start Times:
- EMT - Promptly at 09:00, students should arrive 15-30 minutes early
- AEMT - Promptly at 12:30, students should arrive 15-30 minutes early
If you are applying for a retest, please select the number of stations you must retest. If you are retesting more than three (3) stations, you must pay the full exam fee.
Same day retests are not guaranteed if you are unsuccessful with a station(s).
Advanced registration and payment is required and you must contact the Vermont EMS Office. Failure to register with VT EMS or pay this fee will result in you not being authorized to take the exam. You must have registered with the VT EMS Office no later than 5/1/2022 to take the AEMT Exam, this is a NREMT requirement and there is no late registration.
Refunds
There are no refunds within 3 days of the exam. If you do not attend the exam you do not receive a refund and it is non-transferable. The Eventbrite fee is non-refundable.
Safety Precautions:
FACE MASKS REQUIRED - All participants must wear a face-covering while in the facility or, if outdoors, while in proximity to others. Candidates must have their own face mask.
